About Library

The Library of Binoda Law College was established in 2022. It is one of the richest and potential libraries among the Law Colleges in West Bengal. The Law Faculty Library is one of the best and the biggest library in the country. Libraries are the gateways to knowledge and culture. It plays a fundamental role in every legal institution to impart knowledge and meet up the changing needs of society. The resources and services they offer create opportunities for learning, support literacy and education, intellectual thinking, research capabilities and help to shape the new ideas and perspectives that are central to a creative and innovative society. They also help ensure an authentic record of knowledge created and accumulated by past generations. In a world without libraries, it would be difficult to advance research and human knowledge or preserve the world’s cumulative knowledge and heritage for future generations.

Our library maintains a compendious subscription of journals and magazines which are updated frequently. Books, journals and magazines have been organized in an exhaustive and scientific mode in order to support research work in various disciplines. The institution subscribes to all local daily newspapers, legal journals which are displayed in the library for the students.

The Library has over one thousand books and a large number of law reports and journals. It subscribes to leading national and international journals. It caters to the needs of students and researchers engaged in legal studies and intensive research. Library has the proud privilege of producing the best of teachers, researchers, scholars and legal luminaries.
